Q. Does The Marine Scene accept trade-ins?

Due to warranty and guarantee limitations, we only accept trade-ins on livestock. All returned livestock is subject to a store credit only. No refund of any type will be issued, and all livestock returns will be replaced with store credit. Store credit value will be determined by management and awarded at normal wholesale value. Because of our use of a quarantine system, we can accept fish on Tuesdays ONLY, before 6pm. Inverts and corals can be brought in Tuesday thru Friday before 6pm. We do not accept any trade-ins on the weekends and any item brought in on a weekend day will not be given store credit. Calling ahead is always appreciated.

Based on our inventory and stocking plan there may be certain fish, corals, or invertebrates that we do not want or need. This will be determined at the time of trade in or call ahead and we can determine over the phone. We will make every effort to accommodate those animals we do not want or need but may not provide any credit for them. All trade-ins are voluntary, and a trade-in does not guarantee that the items will qualify for credit.

Credit will be determined at time of trade-in and will have an expiration date of 30 calendar days from the day of trade-in. All credit must be used within those 30 days. Beyond the 30 day period we will no longer offer any credit or compensation for livestock and products left with us under this policy or others.

There is no written or implied guarantee or compensation in any form beyond the scope of this policy.
