Q. Does The Marine Scene accept trade-ins?
A.
Under certain circumstances and with prior approval, we will accept trade-ins on livestock. All returned livestock is subject to a store credit only. No refund of any type will be issued, and all livestock returns will be issued store credit. Store credit value will be determined by management and awarded as such. We can, with prior approval, accept fish, inverts, and corals on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays ONLY, before 6pm. We do not accept any trade-ins on the weekends and any item brought in on a weekend day will not be accepted. To request an item be traded in, you must send an email to staff@marinescene.com including the item(s) you wish to trade in. We will not accept any trade-in without an email request and approval.

You MUST email staff@marinescene.com ahead of time and we can determine if it is an item we want or need. We will make every effort to accommodate those animals we do not want or need but may not provide any credit for them. All trade-ins are voluntary, and a trade-in does not guarantee that the items will qualify for credit.

Credit will be determined at time of trade-in and will have an expiration date of 30 calendar days from the day of trade-in. All credit must be used within those 30 days. Beyond the 30 day period we will no longer offer any credit or compensation for livestock and/or products left with us under this policy or others.

There is no written or implied guarantee or compensation in any form beyond the scope of this policy.
